And just like that, another star has affirmed their status in the game.

Imahacker58 has now won prizes in back to back weeks after picking another multi-time winner this year, Scottie Scheffler. Also, congrats to DJW2307 who won the random draw for his Matias Schwab pick. I truly don't know how there aren't one or two players who don't quit golf for good after playing in the API, that plays about as hard as any US Open venue and there is just water everywhere.

Now it is time for the Player's. Definitely one of the best weeks of the year whether you want to call it a major or not, the field is absolutely stacked every single time they are here. We have done different contest over the past few years for random prizes, but I just want everyone's favorite storyline or moment from the Player's. This could be anything from how many balls go into the water at 17, to is this event a major because it is the best field, all the way to is the 12th a good short par 4 or should they change it again. It can also be Rickie's comeback, Couple's hole-in-three, or JT slinging low hooks that ended two yards from the water on 18. Include anything like that and you can win a sleeve of balls this week.

Now in regards to picks, the Player's Used sheet is completely updated. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO USE IT BEFORE MAKING A PICK. There are 1,500 credits up for grabs for the biggest purse in golf so I don't want any omitted picks because you choose that player at the Amex. Here is everything you need for this week:

    One & Done Sheet

    Player's Used Sheet

    The Player's Field

I do love the discussion if this is a fifth major because of the money and quality of field. However, I truly don't think anything will ever top Ken Duke shooting 65 and gaining 10+ strokes on the rest of the field, asking the question of has there been a better single round of golf ever? Find time this week to watch a little and good luck to everyone!

Will Zalatoris is my pick for the Players - still think Rickie Fowlers win when he was trailing by 5 shots with 6 to play made it into the playoff and then the sudden death shot on 17 was so good under the pressure - agree it is always like the 5th major with the stellar field.

    Good luck to all

    Steve

    Collin Morikawa @ The Players

I can't recall much from previous Players tourneys. The reason I like it so much is because of Sawgrass, and I played it so many times via EA/TigerWoods pc games. Love this Course. Makes watching more enjoyable.

Thanks for the balls Judge, didn’t think I had a prayer after round 2, but Scheffler held his nerve. Anyway it was pure luck on my part, this week I’ll go for Sung Jae Im at The Players. As  an Aussie my favourite memory of TPC would have to be Jason Day’s victory

Cheers and Thanks for everything Judge!

Team Topper will go with MORIKAWA, COLLIN this Week.

My favorite Major moment came in 1986, when everyone thought my all-time favorite player was out for the count:

April 13, 1986:  Nicklaus Wins the Masters at age 46
“Nicklaus is gone, done. He just doesn’t have the game anymore. He’s 46, and nobody that old wins the Masters.” The article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which a friend posts on the fridge of Jack’s rental home in Augusta, gets one thing right: Jack’s age. Wielding an oversized MacGregor putter, with his son Jack Jr. on his bag, Nicklaus closes with a back-nine 30, in route to his record sixth Green Jacket. “Yes, sir!” Verne Lundquist declares on the telecast, as Jack’s birdie putt drops on 17, giving him his first lead in the Masters in 11 years. Cup your ears around Augusta and you can hear the ground still shaking in the wake.

    Cheers
