ERICD1960: I drive the ball really well, my iron play is above avg but my chipping, pitching and putting are where I lose the majority of my strokes.
Okay, these are my thoughts, in no particular order:
1. Good move purchasing that L70 Scotty Cameron putter. It's an excellent putter. Maybe the last one you'll ever need.
2. You need a matched set of wedges. The best wedge you have right now is the MAX Spin 56° Wedge (L50+) because it's High trajectory. I've also sent you the other 2 MAX Spin wedges to complete the set (check your Inbox). Equip those, and sell back the other 2 wedges you just bought and buy some balls with the credits. Like GreenLaser said, the GI2-S balls (64 cr) are good. The GI3-S balls (99 cr) are good as well.
3. The Cobra irons you have are not very good. You said that your iron play is above avg, but they are Med trajectory, which is the worst. The L85 Callaways are much better - High trajectory and a 4.4 meter speed which is much better than the 3.7 speed of your Cobras. I would say, save your credits until WGT has one of their sales (like a 20% off sale) and then buy those.
4. Poke around the Forums here and try to find some information on how to hit the shots that are giving you trouble. Too much to cover here.
5. Consider joining a better CC. The CC you're in right now has an absentee owner who hasn't played WGT in over 5 years.
Enjoy your game, and have fun getting to know all your new clubs 😁
