If they fixed the 145 and 160 G10 They would be ok:),More chance of guessing 6 lottery numbers than guessing where them 2 clubs will land with full bs

I did think they would advance the G10s to G20s with a range of 120 to 215,they still wont be as good as TMs

I'm not so sure Ping would accept  taking a backseat to the TMs in terms of performance, even though it's just a virtual setting. That would make potential buyers think the wrong thing.

Well Jim look at the top clubs and putters that we have now. All TM's.They haven't brought out a top line Ping club since the I15's and they have brought out the 280 R9,the R11's woods, the Burner 2.0's and the R11 Irons and All the Ghost putters since then and the only Ping products they brought out were the lower level K-15's. That is if I didn't miss something but I don't think I did.

    Hey Gladstone,

I feel for you man i really do but looking at your stats you seem to be doing ok and im sure ive seen your name close to the top of a fair few leaderboards around here. Im not 40 yet and i cant buy a ding most of the time - stopped trying to ding drives ages ago. I think Raptures ruin this game for a lot of higher tiered players, they should rename them Teasers....

Yes, but before the emergence of the Burners, the Ping line was the top performer, first with the G10s and then with the i15s. Since then, TaylorMade and Cleveland have dominated the scene, probably because they had the better performing clubs IRL.

Now when Ping comes along with their new and improved version (I don't think they'd market something less) it more than likely will be designed to keep up with current equipment. How would that scenario fit here? Suppose WGT fills up the dots with the new Pings, or at least more than the TMs? I get the impression there's a corner that somebody is painting themselves into. Just who remains to be seen.

It's only fair that the top performing clubs are the most difficult to use... but I can certainly see the point of offering some higher level, longer irons with a slower meter but less precision and accuracy than the R11s or burners.

the other thought i had was leave the above 60 crowd the option to stay tour pro and limit the drivers to 250 types.  and the club types also for that range game. i really enjoyed being able to recover from a mistake as a tour pro  but that life for me did not last long.  just an idea on a senior tour and separate country club for those in my condition  ie old 66 and loss of reflexes.  even on normal golf courses older fellers never play from the blue tees that i remember. nor did they play from the womans .  they played from the usual players tees.
