It always takes me a while to adjust to new clubs (or new balls).

The 5.0 spin of that wedge may take a little longer. Hitting a wedge with that much spin into the wind or to greens that slope toward you can be tricky. Remember you can adjust spin if you need less sometimes.

You can switch to three wedges now if you want to. The long irons sort of make the hybrid a pointless club.  I'm not sure what distance the 56° MAXSpin punches--it's a 90 yard club, so I'm guessing it probably punches 70-75 yards? That's about the same distance a full shot from the Starter sand wedge hits, so staying with just two wedges (or equipping 3 but using the MAXSpin instead of the Starter sand wedge most of the time) until you upgrade your other wedges might be the way to go.  Starter wedges aren't good.

MAX Spin 56° becomes available at Level 50.

MAX Spin 60° at Level 51.

MAX Spin 64° at Level 52.

You’ve made some good progress! With 2500 credits, you’re in a decent spot for a mid-range driver, though it might not be the best available. If you're looking to improve your game now, go for something with a good mix of distance and accuracy, rather than just max distance. When I was in a similar situation, I opted for a driver that was a bit more forgiving on off-center hits. That helped me get more consistent. If you're not in a rush though, you could wait a bit longer to save up for a higher-tier driver, and that might also leave you with more credits for other clubs or gear you need down the line.

I am not sure that you can. Just remember that the higher the level the lower the dgree of the driver, The main thing to look for is high trajectory,

If the Pro Shop doesn’t tell you Scott’s Pro Shop Tables will.

    Thank you Avinashokka.

Driver loft does show in the pro shop at WGT.com, but it may not be immediately obvious...

    SamSpayed:

You're using all starter equipment, so basically you need everything.

In my opinion, I think you have 3 good choices for your 1st purchase:

    1. TaylorMade Qi10 Driver (L55+) - 3035 credits
    2. PING i230 Iron Set (L59+) - 2525 credits
    3. the set of 3 MAX Spin Wedges - 2685 credits

The choice is yours.  The driver would certainly take care of your frustration.

That is the exact choice of clubs I made a couple years ago. The TM L55 driver went on "flash sale" right when I needed it.

Coincidently, Sam advised me at that time. Wise man. :)

It pays to look forward a few levels for upcoming desireable clubs. When you level up, rent them and save 10-20% on the purchase.
