  My first round of the day was the first 3 holes of the elimination round of the Sugar Rush Showdown. 

  As the game loaded with my opponent, he took his first shot, and my turn never happened as the app crashed and everything went away.

  When I started the app again the match was over, and it gave me 3 bogeys for the first 3 holes. 

  I played the final 15 holes and was able to finish but with 3 bogeys from app crash I probably will not advance to the finals. I was credited with -10 and it includes the 3 bogeys.  

  WGT, can I receive a free pass to the finals for my trouble?

  Or do I just lose out on my chance of making the finals?

  We realize nothing is perfect but when app crashes we have no control over it and should not be penalized for it either.

  Thanks for your help and assistance with this bug in the Showdown.

  We report these types of bugs in the Showdown in hopes they can be corrected and not happen to others in the future.

  Unfortunately they won't advance you to Finals, but if you reach out to CS either through the Contact link on this page, or @wgtnico on Discord, they will likely refund your coins and possibly the credits you spent for the entry fee.

  It's a known glitch and it's been around forever.  They say they are trying to find a fix, but at this point it's been around so long I suspect they might just find it easier/cheaper to pay the refund than to expend the resources to actually fix it.

  Thanks for sharing. Not worried about the coins or credits, just wanted a chance to compete for the finals and wanted to share bug in case there was something that could be done.

  I haven’t played the showdowns for well over 3 years. Decided to forgive and forget.

  In the finals sitting at -15 through 15 holes ( couple pars but two eagles ). Start my last three holes, which are a par 5 ( then two par 3’s ). Approach shot gets heartbeats and a couple feet for eagle. My opponent quits and I get the restart button that I push 30 freaking tries, knowing full well I am all done here. The irony of me waiting 3 years to play a showdown and having the worst case scenario happen overcame me with…laughter ( Does anyone remember laughter ).That’s right, I sat there staring at my iPad and just laughed.

  Finally swiped out of WGT and came back to see my score as -12 through 18 holes and went from a decent shot at winning ( or top 3 ) to currently 25th and falling. 

  Fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice and it is on me.

  Lesson learned!

  Yeah credit or coin is not the issue , its infuriating ,  ending up with three squares before it even begins .

  I agree 100%! Its very frustrating! I walked away for 5 minutes and come back to 3 bogies. This is the second showdown in a row! I complained about it last time…to no avail. This time I sent a nasty gram demanding to be credited 2000 coins ($20.00) Stating that I have been playing this for nearly 10 years and have spent hundreds of dollars on equipment & balls. I received an email stating that they will into it…..again. We will see what, if anything will happen. So tired of it!
