Hey WGT I am having a bad time trying to get his game to work on my new pc I build.

    specs: 5600x, 32GB of ram, 4060 GPU

    Monitor 2560x1440p 144hz

I have tried everything I can to get it to stop tearing or fps drops just running like crap.

Vsync on/off, turning monitor to 60hz, changing vsync mode to fast, power management changes and even went to custom resolution which has not help. All resolutions lag, please help it has to be a setting all my other games can run high/ultra settings.

Hello there. I guess the 4060 is just too fast for the 5600, eh? I have the same set up as you apart the fact i am using the 3060. Well, fist off, turn the the V-Sync off. Enable, if your monitor supports it, G-Sync. If you could tell me which monitor you are using, i could help you even further. Change your resolution to 1920 x 1080 at 120Hz while playing wgt. Disable the hardware acceleration if it's on by default and use only the CPU to play the game (the game is very light, you can run it smoothly even with a 10 year old processor.

Start with these and then we dive into Nvidia's control panel.
