    Cel7:

Someone looking after my wallet - thanks!! And I do like my current driver...just wish it was a bit longer. But then i checked others and this IS one of the longest out there so I was trying to figure out how I'm still so much shorter than some others. Thanks for the tips!!

Some reasons why you may be outdrived:

You are at the Legend Tier, playing lower tiers that play from the forward Tees (they are closer to the pin within the Tee Box by 20-30 yards).

You are using the WGT Starter Ball (purchased low end balls and or purchased premium balls are better balanced and exist better distance, spin, and meter speed).

You are missing the 'Ding' therefore loosing distance.

You are applying too much spin on the drive. (1 full Dot will render high apex over trees etc. The higher the apex the less distance)

Your Driver exists an average distance of 287 yards and is very forgiving so 'push' the driver by moving the aimer to 300 yards before driving.

Your opponent/teammate exists an higher Level of Apparel to allow longer Drives.

    All of the Above perhaps!

    Again.....Upgrade!

Thank you for all of this...I'm pretty good w dings and I don't put spin on mmy driver. I will now!! :).

After reading an earlier comment i looked at my apparel...i did upgrade my hat and it added 4 yds so that's good. I couldn't find much else to improve driver distance but may try some balls. Thanks for all the help!!

    Dneirf:

I respectfully disagree with you BlackBogey in regards to the L96 Epic Speed driver being EXACTLY the same as the L96 Elyte Triple Diamond driver in spite of the fact that both drivers exist the exact same specifications.

Being that technology has improved the latest L96 Elyte Driver indicates that the driver is now truer to it's listed specifications or better.

As technology improves, the product improves. Reading the World Golf Tour Stock Reviews of the products will indicate that there is a better quality product replacing the previous product.

And I respectfully think this is dead wrong.  Why are most of the best players in the game not upgrading their 6-7 year old clubs to the latest iterations?  Because a L100 iron set or L98 putter or L99 3wd from 2025 is EXACTLY the same as performance-wise as the clubs with the same specs from 6-7 years ago is the answer.

Technology improves in real life (and not as much as the marketing gurus would lead you to believe, or else we'd all be hitting 350yd drives by now in real life), but not in WGT land.  They only reason newer clubs with identical specs are offered in WGT is it's a contractual marketing/advertising obligation with OEMs to stay current with their in-real-life product cycles.  In order for there to be a noticeable change in performance there would need to be a change in "stats" and there's no indication this is being done, regardless of what your magical 7 iron says.  There are too many people who have "upgraded" and mapped their new set with the same exact ball and have not seen any noticeable difference from the older set with the same specs.

If you are happy spending thousands of credits every year when WGT puts a new wrapper on a club identical to what you already have, then that's your prerogative and that's fine.  This game is just a form of entertainment and doing what makes you happy is what it's all about.  I don't particularly like the looks of my Paradym irons, but that's what was available when I reached those levels so I bought them.  If something came along I liked the looks of better I might consider buying them, but it would be for aesthetics only.
