Are any other PC players experiencing slow loading times?

I have AT&T 1Gig Fibernet service and the game takes forever to load between shots.  If I switch to mobile, and am hooked to the same 1Gig router, the game is lightning fast.  The PC version is simply unplayable for me and I hate tapping a screen vs. the more accurate mouse clicks.

I'm thinking the PC platform is getting zero support any more as the game has moved to the clownish stimulator it has become now.  Yes...stimulator...NOT simulator.

    WTF????

As a temporary measure you could connect your mouse to your mobile device.

You could also try connecting your PC to your AT&T router/gateway via an Ethernet cable and test it.

Thanks Scott & Sam for the suggestions.  I’ll keep trying anything and everything to have PC play back and working.  👍🏻👍🏻

Boy, was I experiencing slow loading issues. It started about a week ago and progressively got worse until I couldn't play at all. It was like dragging an anchor behind a boat. To make a long long story short, I ended up installing a new router. Not much changed at first. I have a top quality fairly new gamers computer and the best internet service available. I was at my wits end so I scheduled a professional Geek guy to come to my home. Two hours before he was scheduled to arrive, I thought I should fire up the computer and booted the game to be ready for his arrival. Low and behold, the issue was gone. I still don't know if it was my equipment, my internet service or WGT. Someone suggested that because of a faulty modem, I had a sort of a bottleneck of junk in the system which eventually cleared with the new router. Whatever, its working perfectly now. Go figure...lol

It was WGT.  I had the same thing exactly.  I have not checked yet today.

Exact same thing happened to me.  I did nothing and a few days later I’m loading fast as lightning again.  To me it must be an internal WGT server issue.  Clearing out cache and rebooting did zero to help the cause.  It eventually just worked itself out.

I'm sure that's what it was.  WGT servers need to be rebooted periodically just like PCs and mobile devices do, to get rid of leftover garbage that affects performance. When I was an IT project manager, our engineering teams used to do rolling reboots of all our servers during our scheduled downtimes, not only to pick up the new software and OS patches, but to give the servers a fresh start.  The servers typically had blazingly fast response times after that.

It definitely could be WGT servers, but it also could be any hop between. Pinging wgt will show how many hops and if there's a slow one with high latency. A VPN can help you avoid a bad hop until it's fixed.

Minor point, but I think you mean tracert not ping.  ping essentially shows connectivity to a site.  tracert shows the actual route (hops).

But your point is well-taken.  It could be your route to the WGT servers has issues.  And yes, a VPN can help.  I have a member of my CC, who lives in northern USA, who could not get WGT to load.  Ever since he started using a VPN, it's been loading just fine for him.
