    Maybe it's a stupid idea, but the AVG score could also change with a smaller number of birdies. For example, if the score at the end of the course is -3 or -4, the AVG score could change. After all, not everyone is able to achieve 7 or more birdies to improve their AVG score.

    It does. it will go up and down regardless of what you shoot. If yours isn’t changing, you’re probably about to move to the next tier.

    You may wish but it won't happen because it has been this way "forever". (Changes cost programming money and cause errors)

    WGT's average is a numerical average of scores played, and you have to play 62s (or 31 on nine holes) to have that counted. It may be a grind but that's intended.
