What's up with that is that now you know your 3 wood flies only 172 into moderate wind and that if you try to baby a chip out of the rough it'll only go 1 or 2 yards.

Out of rough I will almost always goes with a shot that gives me the fullest swing so the clubhead gets caught in the grass. Don't chip unless you're certain that the ball will land on the green.
