  Playing Kiawha Island 2nd hole 6mph  back wind.New pack of balls,tee shot carries 311 yards in the air into the water on the fly??????????Not the first time something like this has happend.Any comments would be welcome.

  With your driver and callaway balls plus a tail wind 311 yards is easily possible.

  I guess the question is, Were you playing a Stroke, Tourney, A.S. or single hole from the course section?

  From the Master tees it is not impossible to hit the water on the right side.

  If playing a Practice hole it would be VERY EASY to over shoot and get wet.

  I agree with AricR and hpury . . . the curse and over-powered. Plus it's Kiawa, what do you expect? I just don't like the course, but play it carefully when I do.
