to reach TM your overall total must be 2520

so you need to cut 58 strokes

scores of 65 or better are needed to reduce the average

Alas, replacing the existing 16 66s (33) by 64s (32) brings the score down only by 32 strokes, playing 16 31s (62) saves 64 strokes. Therefore, in the future only results below 32/64, that is 31s (and maybe a few 63s over 18 holes) will make it till the tier change. 32/64s and 65s can only temporarily lower the score.
