The three cooling towers and chimney stack seen in the background in some of the shots round this course. were blown up on yesterday at 09.00. ( Shame they couldn't have had old Fred Dibnah in his prime burning them down)
There is some footage on you tube, I feel quite sad about it, they were there for over 50 years. Won't seem the same driving past there now.
But at least WGT has them preserved for all to see :))
