    STINKS.

15ft putter max strength, st andrews, fast greeen

2.8yd to hole 0up/down. just under 1/3rd power (less than 5 yards) it overshoots the hole by 5.5 yds

    putt back, 1/3rd power (5yards) 0 up/down, ball goes 3.9yards.

finally 1/4 power (approx 3.5yds), flat, ball crawls into the hole....

how does a putt power under 5yards on flat green go 8.3yards, when putt power of 5yards on same flat green only goes 3.9yards?

Just to clarify, that the putts are in feet and not yards, but which hole was it by the way?

#2 can be pretty tricky with the slope/break of the green.

Also, if the putted was lipped, the ball get afterburners and scoot away at times.

I am going to assume these numbers are in feet, not yards. The 15 foot scale on your putter has 2 avatar moves. This means the putter jerks twice during a full swing. Using "just under 1/3 power" causes the avatar to move once and a little bit. On Fast greens, using the avatar move method, the first avatar move is 7 feet.

Knowing that, it looks like you did hit that first putt over 7 feet (8.3 to be exact.) It also sounds like you were putting downhill because the return putt needed more to get back up the hill. Taking the scale and dividing it into thirds doesn't mean 15/3=5. Each green speed affects that number and the only way you're going to know by how much is seeing it for yourself in practice. In this case, for me and my Ghost, sitting 2.8 away from the hole I would hit the 15 scale putt about 1/2 way to the first move.

Yes sorry, it was feet not yards....

    Basic balls

Accuracy was always within the tiniest bit of ping spot.

might of been 3rd or 4th, but regardless of which, i was playing on a flat area.  The dots on the green squares were barely moving.

another thing i noticed yesterday was the slider bar..... Using woods or putter the slider bar was smooth running, but every single iron shot (apart from my 2 wedges) was jerky, almost like the game was pausing.  at one point i even refused to click for the shot as approx 1/4 way down i thought the game froze it paused that long.  I could accept it being my connection, but to ONLY happen with IRONS and nothing else.... all clubs from Driver to 9iron are Ping v2's, but as I say the woods were fine, it was just Irons.

giving up to go and play real golf I think.
