One thing to keep in mind is: the shorter the shot is, the less time there is for the ball to curve. And the more angled the clubface, the harder it is to get sidespin on the ball.

You will basically never see tour pros slicing wedges and short irons.Or hacks, for that matter -- 20 handicaps will slice a million drivers into the woods -- but not pitching wedges or even 7 irons. At the 5-6 iron range what would be a wicked hook or slice with a wood is a push or pull with a very gentle curve -- if it bends at all.

Even PGA players don't put all that much curve on most irons -- unless they're really hitting a crazy shot ... Long irons, yes, but  again, not as much as on 275 yd+ wood shots. Any curve with irons is going to be much more subtle.

hitting left or right of the ding should be a draw or fade (the way it is IRL),but they set it up as a dead push  or pull instead. fact is ,,allot of things are set up wrong,,,,close,,,but wrong

I guess everyone has been there...left dogleg huge long par 5 at Oly.

You make your nice drive and find fairway but hit a bit early for your second shot to find your ball, either under the trees, or way left on fairway that you can not hit directly to the green, ouch. Because you can not draw your long irons you need to punch under the trees & hope the ball rolls somewhere close to green if lucky enough you ball have not hitten any tree on the way.

Same situation at hole 5 & hole 13 same course if you ball land on the left hand side of the fairway.

I am not asking to add fade or draw to all irons but at least from 5 to 3. I repeat when hitting very early or late with the woods, you can get the wished draw or fade, why not making the same feature for those irons before mentioned?

I can see we are coming to the same conclusion with the draw & fade shots, although it is posible to do it with the woods from the tee or 3 wood from fairway, I do suggest it also, not for all irons, but fomr 3 to 5 iron.

Must agree, the game gets easier & easier for almost ridiculose & totally unrealistic scores, but however, this is only a game and all players have the same chances, according to levels & equipment to score equialy. I still would like to have the feature also for the mentioned irons.

Been playing many random alternates at Olympic latelly to find many TM or legends who are in big time trouble when wind is oposite to fairway shape because they do not use the "draw - fade" from the tee or long second shots with the 3 wood from fairway.
