DOUBLE MONEY READY GO's

  Just an idea i was discussing with a cc mate,

  How about along side the current RGs We could have double your money ones,

  Lets say limited to 50 as per normal the top 25 double the money, obviously the bottom 25 lose out.

  They can still range from 100 - 2000 creds,and still have the same timeframes

  Interesting idea, although you'd only be able to double the money for the top 20.  Can't forget about the rake.....lol

  Still an good idea though.  And I'm assuming the intention would be to run them in addition to the regular RG's, as opposed to instead of them?

  Nothing we could do about the rake i guess...... so i suppose it would be the 45% being paid out , i see no reason why they couldnt be run alongside the rgs that currently exist.It would give an average legend the chance to win a decent amount credits rather than scrape into the top 30/20 in a normal rg and win a pittance...

  Very good idea. Would be a great addition to the other rg`s.

  They do this on a poker site i'm on and it's very popular. It would work well with less players i think (10 or 20) and not take very long to fill up, finish and get paid out.

  Am I right in thinking the suggestion is to have the top % on the leaderboard get 200cr in a 100cr RG, while everyone below that % gets nothing?

  If that's the idea, I like it. Maybe top 40% get paid out? That's top 20 in a 50-player RG. WGT would then take a 20% cut, the same as current RG's.

  Also, would the tie-breaker method be used where there was, for example, 5 ties for 18th in order to eliminate 2 people from getting paid, keeping it to 20?

  Cant see this ever working really, how would you feel if your score of say 55 which would guarantee you a top spot and the maximum payout in normal ready go's just gets you double and exactly the same pay out as some one who might score 65?  

  The ready go's as they are almost guarantee you a double your money payout and even the chance of extra, so cant see wgt ever bothering

  lets forget the "rake" for arguments sake

  50 people enter at 100 credits

  top 25 win 200 credits

  bottom 25 lose their entry fee

  could be done on countback if theres a tie.

  some of us are not good enough to shoot 55,but i would think that if you are skilled enough to shoot that low a legend of this calibre would enter a"double money rg" for 2000/1500 creds and not a measly 100/200 credit one which i would imagine to be prefered by the less gifted.
