level 43 Pro..Which clubs..??

  Have 6000 cr,have starter plus now,think I've done ground work & need 2 move forward. Shoul I buy fullset or build my own with different brands ??Trying 2 buy a set 2 last, thought I'd pay more now & not have 2 re-equip so soon ??? In advance thxs all 4 help..Andy.

  Cant go wrong with the full set of r11s, same meter on all clubs is important IMO...then get yourself 3 wedges 56-60-and 64 and get your hybrid out of the bag, maybe even sell it back...then wait til you can get the ghost putter.....,these will be good until you hit master OR get to a level when you can get the G20s or better which you will NEED for Master...

  can you tell what I did?....just sold my r11 set cause I couldnt reach anything at master

  Thanks RJ,Will buy R11s,but was thinking of Ping Redwood ZB Lev 44..?? Looked @ Ghost 35+ ,Mixed Reviews..?  Also HOW Do u sell clubs back..???

  on your profile /equipment page.....at a steep discount of course.....I did get over 1000 credits when I sold all the r11s back though.....not bad paid just under $35 then got $10 back after much use

  I loved the R11's they will serve you until master. Also the lvl35 Ghost Spider is real good as well.

  Personally I would get the level 37 Burners, or wait.

  This is what I would suggest (it is what I did at about your level, except that I had the R11 Driver and 3Wood and Tour Burner irons , as the R11 irons were not available to me at that time). I used the Tour Burner irons all the way to level 90, although I did upgrade to the higher level wedges, at which point I bought the level 90 full set. The R11 full set The level 26+ Cleveland CG16 wedges (56, 60 and 64 degree) The level 19 Spider putter (which I have and love) or the level 35 Spider putter if you prefer the 15 foot meter (I have this putter also, but am n ot fully dialed in with it yet) Some decent balls that will match up with your new gear (You do not have to buy really expensive balls, WGT GI-SD or Srixons will be fine) This set up should get you all the way up to Legend, although you may find that you need to upgrade your wedges to the higher level Clevelands when you make Tour Master. Then, when you get to Legend/Level 90, you can buy the level 90 R11s (unless you buy the G20's at level 83 of course) One thing that you need to remember is that each time you move up a tier, the greens get just a little bit quicker and more unforgiving. Regardless of what you decide are the right clubs for you... best of luck.

  I agree on the meter and on the G20s - I started with the K15s and could hang around with them when I hit master, but not much more.  G20s are the best investment I've made aside from going the three-wedge route.  I've even played some practice rounds from the Legend tees and can still do a pretty good job getting to the greens with reasonable putts.

  For putters, I started with the Lvl 19 Spider as my first putter purchase - and JUST upgraded (a gift) to the 66+ Ghost.  Going with the R11s, I would NOT recommend the Spider because of the big difference in meter speeds.

  I haven't used a hybrid since Pro level - the only reason I even keep one is for when I play a closest to the hole matches.  If you don't play CTTH, sell it off.

  Of course, all of this is said noting you've already bought the R11s and the Redwood.

  From here, I really recommend using practice rounds until you get used to the clubs - Made that mistake both times and got to the point that my scoring average took quite a bit of effort to get to the next tier.
