  The most likely candidates are a slow computer without enough memory or a bad graphics card or a bad Internet connection. Make sure you have the latest version of Flash, and clear your browser and Flash caches often. Many people use Game Booster, which is free.

  the main cause of erratic meter movement is a PC that is not optimized to run flash based programs and the meter on here is flash based. But as the previous poster said Game booster from Iobit really helps. There is also a program called Gboost which in my opinion is even better than Game Booster. Both programs are free and really help with the meter and other aspects of the game as well.

  Of course I run a cheat progarm that WGT cannot detect...

  I had horrible performance running the game on a Macbook but none whatsoever with a PC.

  Neither. version 3.3.1  but I just downloaded 3.5 beta and it is better by far than the earlier versions.
