Anyone know why the G20 Irons +59  do not hit the distance. From fairway a 160 yard iron will be 10-20 yards short.

Could it be you are hitting into a strong headwind, missing the ding?  Is there a large elevation to the green your not taking into account? Maybe the type of balls you are using? I haven't heard of anyone's clubs hitting that short, maybe a few yds, but not that many.  I don't have that problem with mine.  Need more info. to be able to help you out.

    Hi ,

I am using the G20 Club Set. Before I was using T.M R11. There are really different.

The G20 Iront got a very HIGH trajectory. That means they fly very high and the wind

influence a lot more then with other irons like T.M. or Rocketball Irons. You need to

recalculate the wind. I really like this Irons because they stop immediately even with

a fast backwing or long distance shots. I just played at St. Andrews Closet to the Pin

Contest with a result of 76Feet. Total just take a look. If you dont like the Irons you can still

think to buy the Rocketballs with a Medium Trajectory just like the T.M R11. Greetings from

    Italy.

I just bought the G20's today, not cheap, and am having a terrible time adjusting. Just look at my CTTH scores (not that I was particularly masterful at CTTH in the first place, but this is horrible.) (It seems to me CTTH is a good place to practice iron shots.)

Nothing seems consistent. Balls are going all over the place. Getting the right distance is a mystery.

It's a shock as a love the Cleveland wedges and figured the high trajectory of the G20's would be a dream. So far it's approaching a nightmare. Hope things turn around.

This thread might help. Personally I'm loving the stopping power but judging distance especially in high wind is difficult.
