Hello WGT, Is it possible to add the option in practise mode to select one specific hole. I would like to practise my par 3s for a hole in one shot. For example I would like to practise hole 8 at St. Andrews only. Currently I am only able to practise the entire 9 holes or 3 random holes. Thanks

Hells no!  If members were able to pick one hole to practice on over and over, guys would be shooting in the 40's.  Just keep playing, you'll get your ace eventually.

I think players should have the choice to practise how they want to. If you don't want to practise hard that is your choice. Presumably Ben Hogan would strongly disagree with your opinion.

Ben Hogan was a famous golfer known for his 9 major titles, mainly due to his work ethic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Hogan Not the same as virtual but practise is practise. WGT should have a driving range, lol.

Yes.. a driving range and a putting green... even a chipping / pitching area, too.

However, allowing the players on this site the ability to play a specific hole time after time after time in a practice setting would be a very bad idea.  "Hells no" from above, I think.

Look at the first hole of every course... how many people birdie it automatically?  Because they play this hole the most.  Some play one and restart.  Imagine having this ability for every hole.

    No thank you.

Totally agree with you Snaike. That is why we also need many more hole locations on the courses we have. Even without the practice one hole over and over option the guys learn how to play the holes because of so few hole locations.

I have to look at it this way. In the beginning of WGT how many rounds per  week did any one player play? 40, 50 or more. This is how the top player got so good and then as more holes were released they would practice those over and over. Remember they had no choice back in the early days, sort of sounds to me that it would not hurt to be able to practice holes you are having problems with without having to play a full round time after time. Just MHO. Cheers

    Agreed Snaike,

But an unlimited shot area to practice chipping to get distances dialed in, etc would be MOST welcomed here. I'd go so far as to recommend one hole from a course NOT used on WGT, for this. Maybe they could pay for this with some advertising dollars and have a practice hole sponsored by it's owner?!?!

I think random practice chip shots would be a good addition to anyone's practice game.
