Voice chatting players

    I recently got a headset w/ mic and started playing a friend of mine while we voice chat, love not having to type.

    I am looking for players who also do this and want to add more people to chat with. I am a master with a 63.45 average and I love this game so I play everyday. I'm very laid back and like to have fun but also am very competitive so if you are voice chatting and want to hook up gimme a holla back.

    I am using google right now but want to find the best possible v/c program to use that doesn't mess with the playability of the game.

    Try TeamSpeak, much better and made for it, and free. Me and a buddy use that all the time for WGT and for Iracing.

    Another vote for skype! Much more entertaining to just talk than type everything.

    thx for replies every1, I have been using Skype and no problems so far; if anyone wants to play send friend request and we'll play some alt shot.

    I like it way better than typing, having fun; just holler and we'll we'll hit some balls virtually.

    Ventrilo is also a great option. It is very similar to TeamSpeak.

    once you install you just need 2 things....hostname and port # and your golf name of course....no password is needed....just name the server GOLF or something..it doesnt matter

     

    64.95.53.67    is the hostname or IP address

    port # is        3784

     

    we play WGT everyday ...great group.....anybody is welcome to come

     

    when you get there use the left Ctrl to talk  and make sure you open the CHAT box button on the right in case we need to adjust your mic.... see you soon i hope
