    Buggyyy:
I'm 17 at the moment, but I turn 18 this coming up Saturday. Will that make me eligible, LOL?

If you're really only 17, it means you lied about your age and you never should have been able to play in any of the RG's or other tournaments involving the winning of credits that you've entered so far.

I don't know what WGT will do at this point, but had you been honest you would have been eligible starting next Saturday.

Sir, I didn't purposely do that. I accidentally scrolled to 1993 when I created my account. I freely advertise my age in my CC and in the public forums. WGT, please understand this. Mem11, I understand where you are coming from, though. It wasn't intended.

    Thank You, Buggyyy

I'm thinking they've got the dates wrong.......6th May....today is Sunday.

Most likely it was meant to be the 7th.

That's understandable, but the fact you entered, played in and won credits that require you to be 18 or older may put WGT in a bit of a pickle.

I haven't and don't plan on reporting you, though posting your age in the forum may force WGT's hand.  You seem like a good kid, so good luck...

There's still around 15 hours of Sunday to go, over there though.

    Qualifying cut at 72

By the looks of the course a 55 will probably be the cut this year.

Not with high winds, championship tees & championship greens, I am sure. Still 72 the cut with hard conditions.

Must admit if mild winds & tournament greens, the cut would probably be 57-58. Pitty to have such easy conditions in such awesome course and important Open.

    LOLserver:

I wrote this in the course forum.

Would like to see the qualifying as follow:

    • Championship tees
    • Championship greens
    • High winds

Qualifying cut at 72 and 68 as best qualifying score.

This would mirror, more or less,  a real US Open Open qualifying.

Let me preface this by saying I'd also prefer championship tees, greens and high winds for qualifying.

    -BUT-

Whether its championship tees, champion greens and high winds or blue tees tourney greens and low winds, 95% of the players who  qualify would do so in either settings.

The difference is champ tees, greens and high winds would get 80% less qualifying rounds played on it than easier settings would yield. It would also be incredibly frustrating to lower tiers / levels of proficiency players to try and combat these settings. This  means less$$ to WGT who is looking to recover the costs associated with bringing a new HIGH DEFINITION course out.
