OUCH!!! on both shots. While that is as unlucky as you can get, I've seen on many occasions (and you can search the forums...you'll find them) that shots like that bounce in the hole (you'll hear it) and shoot either OB, many yards from the hole, or something else. At least you 2 had tap in birdies.
Unlucky yes, and it probably is a bug (since no shots here should plug since we don't have rainy weather to really soften the greens since everyone with top clubs comes in from so high. Believe me, I know. I hit the ball real high IRL, and I have actually put it 1-2 inches deep into the green in wet weather), but I would be thankful you didn't get the slam dunk and launch to a point that you probably wouldn't make bogey from.
