I suggest WGT should put a foam brick in the pro shop for those big FU moments that seem to be happening more and more frequently.  Battling the crappy meter blues is frustrating enough, but on top of that when every other dinged shot doesn't go within 10 yards of where it should I begin to lose control.

Would be really nice to have something like "The Brick" to help ease the tension and anger.  At this point I would gladly pay good money for it.  Would certainly save on broken MICE!  LOL

Vent over.  Let me know you're thoughts on "The Brick". I know I know, "Jake why do you still play when if it's so frustrating", but the answer is simple, I want to win 750,000 more credits so I can buy a new set of Pings.  ;-P  insert sarcastic laughter here

WGT Please investigate this ... someone must have stolen Jakes ID and is pulling an early April Fools joke on us.

The Great WGT player Jake Stanfill who I know and love would never write something like this.   As we all know .... he never has game problems ... if he did he wouldn't be one of the top money winners now .. would he ?????

A guy I used to play golf with in Atlanta years ago had a small indentation in the toe of his right golf shoe.

When he hit a bad shot or got a bad bounce he would tap the heel of the club against the toe of his shoe. He obviously had many frustrating moments because the sole at the toe of his right shoe showed it.

I personally would pay mucho for a caddy that is standing with my bag within view of all shots.  When I hit a good shot and the VEM takes it, I can press H to whack the bag with the club, or press F to drop the F bomb, or C to yell at the caddy for a wrong club or advice, or S to make the *** run to the clubhouse to get me a soda.  I would even purchase caddy options like mentioned above, including key CST, which will prompt me to say to the caddy "Nice read Sugar ***" after a bad putt read.

Seriously, I want that.  I even want to see the caddy take off in the direction of the clubhouse.

WGT, if you can make that happen, I guarantee you a monthly credit purchase.

    I'm in for this.

Last year the worst part of my real game was my putting and one day I just got so pissed off I wound up and round kicked my Golf bag, my Dad wasn't impressed....LOL

I've seen my Brother throw his club before and I tell ya what, I laughed so hard I nearly broke a rib, I laugh now just remembering it!

I would love the option to throw my club, or kick my bag, kick the Caddy or something along those lines, throwing the club though I think would be AWESOME, its the true classic move of the pissed off Golfer and its funny as ***, would go over great in multiplayer mode!  :)

But the question is, would you still love it if you had to re-buy the club at the Pro Shop?

Hehe I wondered if that would come up and of course the answer is.....NO!

Now if I had Jake's credits then probably YES.... :)

So my suggestion would be, if you throw it OOB in the Harsh bush at Andy's or in the drink, you lose it, otherwise you don't, remember this game has to stay realistic!

I'm right there with you Jake. I've withdrawn from more tourney's just this past week than I have since I started playing.

    I may need a brick or 12.

I had an unused room, had it completely padded with foam, moved the computer into it, along with me and locked the door. I love it.

Not sure I'm for the club throwing.  In college I witnessed a very close friend hit the cart with his 6 iron.  The broken shaft ricocheted back, stuck in his temple and put him in a coma for 5 days.  Since then I have always maintained my composure and sportsmanship on the real course.  I also get very uneasy and perhaps a bit testy when people I play with throw clubs and I ALWAYS demand that they never do it again if they want to play with me.

The motivation for the Foam Brick here is because things like the lovely meter freeze and excessive deviations on dinged shots with highest precision clubs send me over the top.  I realize that most of my meter issues stem from my own computer, but I do wish WGT or Flash could develop formats to be more compatible with systems that aren't top notch.  Deviations are part of the game too, but they used to happen around every 10 shots or so.  Now they are happening literally every other shot much of the time on dingers.  And yes, I have cleared cache files and all that garbage.

I remember back in the 70s there was a foam brick someone developed to throw at the TV during sporting events and this is what I have in mind here.  Nobody sees your display of poor sportsmanship, nothing gets hurt or broken, and you're right back in the game to take more punishment but feeling just a tad better about getting "the shaft".
