I wonder if it would be possible not to chose a random wind in the face for every single hole, but to chose a random wind for the whole course? Lets call that an honest wind or a wind according to natural circumstances.

Of course there would be some variation in the strength of it, just as in real life, where sometimes the wind is blowing one moment a bit more or less than another moment. But if you , lets say take a wind from the north-north-east direction on a course of a certain strength, it should be possible to work out the specific wind for each hole.

I am getting a bit sick and tired of getting 15- 16 times the wind in the face and only wind in the back, when it has no use at all ( as in par 's, or when a bunker or other hazard is in the way) It just does not feel right or natural

WGTniv (nivlac) mentioned in one of the first threads that WGT should change the wind to it's current status. He said the wind was just to random and every shot never had a chance to make it to the hole.

The wind would blow at 10, and when you took a swing the wind would blow at 2 right at ding sending the ball in the opposite direction. There's no possible way to correctly compensate for the wind.
