  It has come to my attention that my boy Don (RUNWME) has shot a 49 during the Sun Safe Classic. WGT employees are so shocked, that they've decided to close the tournament 1 month early and just give him the prize. Be sure to congratulate Don on his EPIC Avenger beatdown on KIA.

  hahaha  Only took about 33 hours of grinding it this weekend. If I didnt eagle 2 AND 1 or 3, I'd hit restart restart restart. Been playing this almost exclusively for past several days.

   Shot 52 with r11 and nike balls but the limited  rollout on the slow tourney greens and short approach shots from the Pro white teebox hurt my approach shots.

  Tried r11 and callaways and struggled with the faster meter speed so abandonded that.

  Went to g20s and callaways and shot a 55 . Decent but no cigar.

  Today went back to old 2.0 irons and callaway 35 z balls that bollox and win1soon had used to shoot 50 in these same conditions at the kettle qualifier last year. This turned out to be the perfect combination of roll out after the shot. Still prefer r11s and nikes from legend tees though.

  So-So. Just checked your scorecard and you seemed to have missed the fairway on the first.

  Didn't sweat it too much off the first tee box. If screwed up 1 another chance was just a restart away :)

   

  This was the longest 7.4 ft putt Ive ever had since on wgt. Took about 15 mins for me to make the putt which include 2 beers and a cigarette.

  Especially on that hole.

  Congrats.

  I am more than happy with the two 59s I managed in that comp. I think if I nailed my game I could perhaps get a 56 at very best. 49/50/51 etc. is different league.

  I agree Peter. I shot a 58 on my 3rd try. Perhaps I can do better if I actually focused and double-checked my shots. When RUNWME showed me his scorecard in a chat room, I decided to retire....LOL J/K
