I am playing #5 at Olympic CC in the Virtual Qualifier.  I just dinged my tee shot with my R-11 driver  The ball travelled 125 yards.  This occurred before but I missed the dinger so badly that I thought it was my fault.  Also these greens sure seem slow for Tournament speed but I can adjust for that.  Am I the only one with this problem?

    hi

did you happen to submit a bug report via right click? I can then see whats going on there.

green speed is different for all courses. rating is a generic rating :). play and adjust!

No, I did not. I guess I didn't know about how that is done.  Do I just right click on the screen after this occurs?  I'll try and duplicate it and then right click on it as you suggest.

Its pretty to easy to duplicate. Just hit your drive like you normally would, that tree off teebox will do the rest. Ive had it slap down my ball at 125 yrds also.

Try full topspin off the teebox and go under limbs.  Becareful not to run through the fairway  as you can get trapped under tree in rough on leftside for your second shot.  I've hit trees on 3 consecutive shots during qualifying on just #5.   This hole is one of trickiest driving holes on wgt.

If you don't think you've hit the tree, save your replay to be looked at if happens again.

Corey you probably did what I did a couple of times and didn't notice it. That tree on the right side of the fairway near the tee box will catch you shot making it go close 10 125 or so. Mine went only 116.

You can hit it even though the ball shows clearly missing. I don't think it's a mapping issue, either, just a testament to how much that tree is really in play. I found no spin off the tee fits the ball nicely under it.

Also, this is a good hole to learn the "fade" shot (yes, I know there's no such thing in this game-just pretend,) depending on the wind. Aim way left and miss way late.  :-)

Hey WGT.. Just played my first round at Olympic. Very challenging but fun. Wanted to give you guys a THUMBS UP for the course you decided to add this year. Keep up the great work and effort you put into this site !!!!!! Can't wait for the future courses.

After further review... I hit the trees.  Wouldn't have believed it but that's what happened.

BTW  Thanks WGT for setting up this course.  It is awesome.
