Great score and glad it was done by such a nice guy.
I'm sure that many of the detractors are the same group that always complains whenever the Open qualifying starts. It is amazing that you can get on a roll in this game and sometimes go very low.
I'm just an average legend but I have gotten on streaks in the qualifying where I had 13 straight birdies so anyone can do it. Played a back nine skins game at Kiawah last week where I had 8 birdies and an eagle in route to winning all 9 skins so it does happen.
The key is what TheLighterDark said though, we all have chances to put up a low number, I'm sure that some of the other true Legends in WGT have been a couple of putts away from sub 50, especially with the shorter tees, but no matter what Don actually did it and he doesn't have to say I only needed those 2 five footers or I had that one putt lip out. He can just say look at my wall.
While we are on this topic, hey WGT how about a statistics wall like we have talked about for 2 years that shows, longest drive, most aces, lowest score on each nine, all the stuff we like to look at. You have all the information on each players profile so it is available in the system.
