My first complaint

  I know people complain about everything around here but I think mine's valid.

  16th hole Olympic, strong left to right wind, I aim left and hit a tree. The ball drops straight down and is lost. It's not a forest, not out of bounds or in a hazard...but it's a lost ball. Talk about screwing me out of a couple of bucks!

  Maybe aim not so much left?

  Or aim right and hit early?

  Practice it with starter balls, look to hit in the center of the first blue bar (it's darker).

  Same thing happened to me there.... my ball was supposedly lost in the "weeds:" there ARE no weeds there, only widely spaced trees, kind of like inside the dogleg at BPB #1. I deserved trouble, but not a lost ball.

  You have opened the smelly Can-O-Worms here baby...my most hated issue with WGT is their love of the "Lost Ball"!!!

  At $1.50 American for a top of the line Nike, it PO's me to no end that these guys can take it away from me just like that with anything other than an errant shot into the water...Come On guys, in real life, if that pricey little puppy is sitting in somebodies yard, OB or what, & I can SEE IT, I'm walking over there right through their flower garden, whatever, & grabbing it back! If the homeowner is standing there, I'm asking permission, of course, but I'm getting that ball back!  So if you peeps wanna charge near real world prices for these make-believe balls give us a little real world love back!!!  Sheeezzzzz........

  I can understand OB, I can understand into a forest or a hazard but this was at the base of a tree...

  Yup...just happened to me in an MPC....clipped the top of tree, ball drops & disappears....reckon Renni was squirrlin' around in the tree & pinched me ball....lesson learnt....re-hit drive onto the fairway...moved on not much I can do about it...
