Hi all....Im pretty new here and to golf itself so my question is how do I know which club to use on a shot where the green is 20ft higher or lower than the part of the fairway I am on? If its 20ft lower than me, should I take off 5-10 yards? Not sure here....thanks to all for the help.

Always gonna be tough with starter clubs, but roughly add/subtract 1 yard per 3 feet,, now you're gonna get some roll out and come short as well, but should get you in the ball park.
