All well and good advice, BogeyMan310, but it's pretty obvious to me that there's a connectivity issue in play as well.

Consider this: if the swing meter was all and entirely workstation computer-dependent, then you should notice no difference in swing meter function on a Sunday afternoon (presumed high WGT server traffic period) versus 3 AM (Pacific Time Zone) on a Thursday. Anybody besides me able to testify that there is a HUGE difference in swing meter function between those two hypothetical time periods? For my dedicated PC (cleared off of practically everything except a game booster software), weekends are pretty risky play considering the cost of "slow meter" golf balls for an olphardt like me. Swing meter balks, leaps, etc., make the game barely playable, and certainly not a good time for a money game. Vampires on weeknights, on the other hand, have a MUCH smoother swing meter. Never fails, and the time of week has nothing to do with my WGT-dedicated PC. Oh, and I agree with others re Google Chrome. It seems to be an Adobe Flash idiot. Went back to MSIE, which I have found handles WGT better than Mozilla Firefox.

    That's not saying much.

Maxthon, comodo dragon, opera, palemoon and slimbrowser are all better than those two. I play on a sh1tty notebook sometimes and rarely have any issues.

Did you try what AvatarLee suggested?

i/e unplug from he 'Net, then try your shot...do this several times and see how your meter performs.

Maxthon 3, Game Booster, clear all caches daily, clear flash weekly? get a good cleaner/ optimizer, use once a week, maybe more.  Keep friends list small (Works for me, for other players, not so much.)  Use the back swing hold to 3 count before release.

Any or all may help your situation.  They did help my swing meter.  At present my swing meter only has 1 problem and it is located on the outside of the mouse.

I play at least once a day, mid afternoon,  more often, after 11 pm east coast time.  On weekends during the day, and also late at night.  Only problem I have had is sometimes slow to reach the site, and the frequency of  disconnects is higher during the "High" volume of use periods.  Does not disturb my swing meter at all.

    Hope it helps.  my nickle.
