    All,

Please can someone explain to me why, when on the fringe the default putter setting is at 150FT? Yes the putt may need a good few ft adding or you may flop/chip/pitch/full but 99/100 you still only need the 30ft scale if on the starter putter still. Surely it would be easier to leave the default fringe 30ft then adjust as needed. Doesn't happen often but it can screw up a round or leave a bad taste when a 10ft putt takes off heading 70ft odd or proper roughed/bunkered up.

    Anyone else?

If it bothers you so much, just adjust the scale to the right setting. It only takes a second.

    hi

you should always adjust the club and distance. it's there to generally guide you and has specific standards of how it works, therefore sometimes you may get wrong club.

of course, you should always adjust it and not blindly rely on it.

Thats just it, in this specific case FRINGE its neither a guide or a very good standard. Yes its my mistake not to check but how often with the starter putter from the fringe do or did you use the 150ft scale, im not sure I ever have.
