I'm looking to upgrade my wedges ( I carry 3).  I think I've pretty well decided that my first upgrade is going to be.  Taylor Made Z Satin TP 64 degree wedge. That leaves 2 more, any suggestions will be appreciated.  What works for you, etc.

    Thanks.  Dave

That one, the 77 and the 90 Satins. Get the 110 Satin when you want to carry 4.

I go 77 and 105. It depends what distance your lowest iron goes really.

................or also go with the 80 yrd Cleveland wedge for better control and spin...and the 100 yrd Cleveland wedge....but be careful with them because the bs on them are very touchy and needs some practice to master them.

The 77 wedge from Taylor Piz was talking about is also a very nice wedge for close approaches.

Can't go wrong with the Z-Satins. Forever, I carried 3 of them -50, 77, and 105 yrds. Add in the the punch shots  and spin, and you're pretty much covered from 108/109 yards in. I still have them in the bag, along with the 93 & 98 yrds ones ( TPs) and the 90 & 110 yrd Master ones.

A couple months ago, I swapped out he 77 & 105 for the Cleveland 115 and 80 yards wedges., but I will still stick the the satins in for different CTTH comps.

    You are under L64

You should buy 3 wedges for shot ball closer to the hole on green, go out from the rough and make easy chips and flops. Good ones ( L38-39) are Taylormade Z satin TP, for closing the gap between your irons and the hole( lower range clubs). Good choice wlil be 3 wedges: 64° for 50yds, 60° for 77yds, 56° for 93yds. Price for these ones is Vgood.

With higher Level (over L64), Cleveland (the best rated ones) are the best ones sure, Enjoy !

before recently upgrading (2 of) my wedges to clevelands, I had the 98yd satin, 77yd satin, and 50yd satin, and they served me very well.

with the punch shot, it gives you distances of:

    41

    50

    63

    77

    80

    98

    pretty good spacing there, IMO

Cleveland for sure the spin and control are bar none by comparison. I still suck though. :)

In case you wanted one more opinion or thought, I've carried the lower level Z Satins (54 and 60 degree L14 and 64 degree L39) close to the time since I was eligible to get them.  At 85, 65 and 50 yds, my biggest gap is between my punch with the PW (98 yds) and straight up with the 54 degree (85 yds).

I'm not planning on upgrading at least until if I make Legend primarily to close that gap between the PW and my longest wedge.  I may even keep the 50yd, but may opt for the Cleveland 64 rated 60 yards.  We'll see when if I get there.
