Is there really nothing else there than strong wings and after a while  annoying very strong winds?

I hear more and more voices of poeple who are getting fed up with Andrews. Time to get more stroke play courses

I have a weather program and check the winds there from time to time and no, the wind does not blow that hard all of the time, I have recorded 8kts and 10knts recently. But then I have seen 22kts gusting to 40kts. Just have to get used to the wind.

I played St Andrews in September last year and the weather was beautiful for the time of year. There was a light breeze otherwise I'm certain my 81 would have been a 63. I'm glad I didn't damage the reputation and integrity of the Old Lady by burning it up, the R&A were most grateful......

It's a shame that you didn't burn that Old Lady down. You would have done us all a great favor.
