FIRST HOLE AT OLYMPIC SHOWS PAR 5

  I was looking at some of the future tournaments at www.pgatour.com and reviewed the US OPEN for this year.I was looking at the holes on the course and it had the first hole as a par 5

  Not at WGT.com. And when you become a Legend player, all par fours become par fives. LOL!! j/k

  The first hole of Olympic was changed from a par 5 to a par 4, for this years US Open. And I believe the 17th was changed from a par 4 to a par 5 as well. Not sure if it's JUST for the US Open or if it will remain. I'm thinking it's JUST for the US Open. Have fun and good luck.

  Indeed, stands par 4.

  It takes my attention the tree on the rigth hand side of the WGT Olympic course hole 1, it is certainly....hollow!, I have never seen anyone hitting it, have not hiting it myslef even tho the ball goes completelly through the middle, or have heard anyone hiting it.

  Wonder if WGT made it like this to make things less difficult for the qualifying running up at this very moment. It is like there is NO tree over there at all.

  Whish it was fixed...lets make it a bit more real. AWESOME course, I simply love it, thanks WGT for such magnificent course.

  Yea I've hit it but only when I miss my meter significantly to the right.,..

  I see, you need to hit right at the "trunk" of the tree...lol. You have less chances to hit it then driving through.

  What I mean is; that tree is the only tree at Olympic which has no branches, leaves, squirrels or birds to stop the shot as any other tree along the 18 holes course.

  I agree LOL.. hole 5 has a hanging branch that hangs invisibly lower than it looks...
