Nike balls

  I am, hopefully, just a few rounds from Master tier. I have read in the forums that this will be a tough jump with the tees further back. Having looked at what drivers are available to me in the next few levels (I'm level 46) the yardage advantage is negligible. I use the R11 - 252yards while the next few drivers are 255-260 only an 8yard gain. I was wondering if I would in fact be better off investing in the Nike balls when they're open to me? What do people think?

  Simple answer - no.  They aren't going to give you but 1 or 2 yards over the Callaways you are using and you will be better served to save your credits and get the level 59 G20 driver when you get to it.

  The Callaway balls are fine for distance. You might try the level 45 (z) ball for a bit of extra distance. But don't forget to use backspin on drives with a helping wind. You'll get plenty of extra yardage this way.

  You should try and hang on to your current driver until level 58 and get the slower meter G20 driver. That driver will take you all the way to the Legend tier where you'll need to upgrade again. Your current driver will get the job done until level 58, but some approaches may be longer than you're used to, but not altogether impossible to make birdies.

  I love my new L58 G20 driver. Although it has a smaller sweet spot that my previous Rapture, it was an easy transition, only took a round or two to adjust, and hitting long drives is fun!

  Use xp boosts or even buy a level or two to get to L58. The cheapest XP boost is only 10 cents for an hour and is especially useful when you know you're going to get your days-played-consecutively points (there I would get the 30 cents-an-hour one).

  Thanks for the help everyone. Looks like I'll stick with what I've got. I'll stay with the R11 set and Callaway is as I know my distances and spin effects. I'd rather buy a set which will get me to Legend eventually.

  I will second, third, fourth, etc holding out for the g20s.  I struggled through early on as a Master in the same position you are - low level with no really good options at the time.  I'm actually really disappointed in myself for not having made TM by this point since buying the g20s at L59.

  I'm expecting to be able to hang on to the g20s through Legend with a possible driver upgrade and more complementary wedges once I get there.

  If you weren't already in Glamouflage, I'd send you an invite for the YGCC - all about the ability to fire low even with inferior clubs.  (And heck, you're knocking on the door of TM already as it is!)

  You cant have her nyahhhh! LOL A very good player indeed and a pleasure to have her contracted though 2020.
