Tried to test these 2 .. not very scientific i suppose, but used Oakmont no.1 tee under low wind conditions .. dunno how many drives i hit, but was alot .. alternated between these two drivers .. had to quit & reload everytime after each hit & i was trying to compare the performance of each driver under similar wind conditions, i.e wind yds from behind per driver, etc etc ...
From what i can tell the G20 seems to better once there's any kind of headwind, which i find abit odd since the avg dist for the Rballz driver is 5yds longer and it has a medium trajectory against the G20's high trajectory ..
The Rballz driver seems to a bit better as soon as the wind is directly from the side or from behind which i kinda expected ..
Few examples: i'm gonna use aggregate of 2mph wind from behind: Rballz has about 5-10 yds on the G20 here .. max dist i could get with G20 was 308yds & with Rballz 315yds ..
3mph from front: G20 found max of 296yds & Rballz 292yds ..
of course many other factors come into play here determining the end result: ding or not, bounce, etc ...
G20's listed avg is 270yds & Rballz listed at 275yds ..
And i just cannot decide which is the better to use.
I was wondering if anyone else might have experimented with these 2 drivers ? And which one they prefer .. maybe there's good reason to pick one over the other ? Would appreciate some input from the more experienced .. thx
