One additional dot of forgiveness for about $10 more than the previous R11 driver.

Would have leaned towards those R 11's but the meter speed is still faster then the G20's........They would have had a better selling point had they slowed that down some.

Just another way to make us fork out $25 for something which we all ready have. (yes i have bought it, and was it worth it?, not really, just the R11 in a new outfit but wgt know we cant resist spending our credits on anything new so its going to be a quick injection of $$ for WGT. very clever business model.  If they sold a left handed screwdriver i might be tempted too, been looking for one every where!

All in all, it looks a nicer driver "meaner looking" and because i've gone back to the lower level Nike's when driving i'm matching people with the R11's and higher level Nike's.  To be honest, if it wasn't for the different image you wouldn't really know its a different driver. We will all rush out and buy it just for the hell of it, but sensibly, is it worth it?  All we are doing deep down is RE-BUYING the R11!!!

(but is the meter a tiny weeny bit slower?)

I believe just he opposite. I would have jumped on it (not saying I will not anyway) if they had made the meter faster and mached it up to the R 11 irons. I would also like to know especially with a course like Olympic, will all that forgiveness, will it affect my draw or fade? Or for those that do not believe you can hit a draw or a fade, if it will affect my miss hits when I need the ball to draw or fade?

Supposed to be more forgiving, but the other R11 driver is pretty forgiving as it is. Maybe the extra 2 yards stretch out to 5 or 10 with maximum distance balls? Hope we have a chance to try it out for free over Memorial Day weekend.

You know if you get to try it out, it will work like magic. As soon as you fork out $25.00 and buy it, you'll be saying, what happened. I rented the R11 twice, was driving 350 plus, could barely miss the ding and still have a beautiful shot. I bought it and the magic left. It's still a cannon, but not like it was before I bought it. My longest drive is still with my old R9.

totally ridiculous !  What are they thinking ? all that money for an additional 2 measly yds on distance if you use the most expensive balls on top of that !  WGT should stop treating the clients like brainless sheep. If they had offered an additional 5 to ten yds increase-everyone would prob want one--including myself--as a player works hard and spends money on this game to progress to level 90+ they should have better increases in equip performance---not 2 stupid yds or faster meters --its bad enough you have to tee off in another county as you progress--I just don't see the incentive here-wish i could have locked myself in as tour pro---in a nut shell  i think in my own opinion that the price for this club is a joke if you already have the R-11 or G-20. Give us a club that hits 290+ geeeez !

Total bs, I don't mean backspin.

    renniw52:
    could barely miss the ding

That has nothing to do with the club.

Once again, your conspiracy theory is easily explained away.
