I don't know about you but it is very frustrating to me that when you start off with four players and end up with two or by yourself playing.  Today i was spanking a guy that was a MASTER.  So he disconnects on me.  That is so frustrating.  I believe there should be a   .15   deduction from average for players that disconnect from the game per every game they do this. This would allow the game to be more fun. And really determine what your average truly is.  Lets really try and get this done somehow.  Thanks WGT  I truly LOVE this game.

And how about the people that disconnect beyond their control (power failure, ISP problem, browser crash, computer crash etc.)

They are supposed to be penalized also?

There are sometimes circumstances that cause disconnects that aren't detectable from someone just dumping the game.

I think you need to get over it and get on with life..

    No.  Too many variables.

Visit the ladders at www.wgtls.co.uk.  No one quits in those games, it's not tolerated.

Alex if you get disconnected because of the issues you stated when you refresh you game window it automatically asks if you want to continue that round or forfeit, so you need to get life and get over it. Sounds like you may have disconnected a few rounds that you didn't need to or just wanted to so your average wouldn't go down

if I am not mistaken, ALL disconnects are treated the same - relaunching the game windows gives you the option to pick up where you were (alone) or exit the round all together. This isn't specific just to quitters, or to legit dropped rounds, it applies to all.

This is the major flaw in trying to penalize quitters, and why it will never work. Search the threads for others on the same topic, there are plenty of good suggestions floating around for how to handle this, none of which need to get rehashed her, in yet another thread.....

The problem could be  cured  easily.  Any  disconnect  should be placed  in reserved for 24-48 hrs . The game would have to be completed before another started  or they have the option of waiting  24-48 hrs  until that game is auto removed.

    I Agree....

And yes sometimes it is when the game crashes but sorry to those below it always seems to happen when u are winning.I can't tell you the amount of times i have beaten Masters and Champions then Suddenly Poof Disconnect. u cant tell me they are crashes or rebooting.I have only had to do this once during a power cut. Its so bloody unfair for would be players trying to climb the ladder. So after so many times, a penalty should be incurred.

Its not about getting a life its about playing fair so come on WGT let get a grip on this problem.
