To all of you who feel confident of a US win........ The Brits and the Europeans are going to kick your a&^%^s AGAIN!!!!!! Sorry lads, Ian Poulter could play all the games by himself and win against your lot!

You are not playing at home this time!

OK, now that this forum is awake...... time to be honest. Looking forward to a very tough competition that could go either way. We are sure to see two great sides playing in a great tournament.

By the way, this was already confirmed last year, but, for those who weren't here: the Ryder Cup 2010 will be played at St Andrews Links Old Course.

We played on American territory last year (Bethpage) so now it's turn for the World to play at home.

    PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT

OK, I am afraid I am going to have to make small changes. As Plim well pointed out, the August 18 Hole Open will take place at Kiawah. I don't want (and I'm sure no one does) the players who qualify to be tested purely on one course, specially as Kiawah is not the course on which the Ryder Cup will be played. Which means that WE ARE NOT USING THE AUGUST 18 HOLE OPEN AS A RYDER CUP QUALIFYING SCORE.

We will still keep the same number of qualifying rounds, with one for each month and two in August, nut the two in August will now both be weekly tournaments.  The problem is the WGT tournament schedule only lets us see what's happenning next week, but no further. The week 32 18 hole single play tournament will be played at Bethpage, which means that we will not be using that one either, because I woud like to get as many qualifying rounds as possible to be played on St andrews, which isthe course where we will actually be playing the 2010 Ryder Cup.

In other words, we must wait until next Monday and see what course the Week 33 18 Hole Single Play tournament is being played on. If it is St Andrews, we go straight into it! I will let you know on Monday morning.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope you understand that some problems sometimes come up and I have to try to look for the best solutions.

With all this going on, I forgot to remind you today is the last day for July scores, and still plenty of gaps on both leaderboards!

Tomorrow, I will be busy in the morning so I will have to dish out the points in the afternoon. Don't get impatient :)
