  I demand a recoont .... especially in Florida.  Someone needs to look at the write in votes and the cards that have the "chads" not fully punched.

  Two fine elected captains for sure. Congrats to you both and good luck to all in the qualifying. Last year was great, this year should be the same, some really tough matches involved and sure is fun. Let the nerves begin LOL.

  Seve by the way....

  A couple weeks ago I was discussing the option of having possible alternates for each team in case something came up and a certain player was not able to make his/her scheduled match....

  Havent seen any info on that just yet.....

  Just curious what your thoughts are there?

  On a serious note congrats to Rob and Paul for being elected as captains of the 2 teams for the Ryder Cup this year.  You're both are very experienced players as well as being a real good sports and a gentlemen, fine choices there folks !

  Thanks Seveking for running the election in the usual efficient manner, this comp. is going to be a huge event again this year, I just hope that I can make the team ! lol ! :-)

  After the recount it has been confirmed that the winner was indeed Rob :) .

  Last day to post scores for the May qualifying stage.

  And, yes, Rob, there will be one alternate for each team, but I want to think about exactly what circumstances these alternates are allowed to come into the tournament. When I have thought about it, I will speak to both Captains and then include it in the rules in the first page.

  Leaderboards updated and May points awarded. But this has onl just started, you can post your June 18 Hole Open score whenever you like.
