Oldbayrunner: MSLinks golf has had real life golf features for many years utilizing their meter for inside/outside swings creating fades and draws, placing the ball within the stance forward to back for various trajectories and also the balls lie from uphill or downhill in stance affecting ball flight as it would in real life golf.
Their swing meter had nothing to do with it. The clubface and stance adjustments did it. Coupled with the lie factor, which you got to see, you still had to hit the prefect swing to get the right result.
That only held true if you used the basic swing modes. I played the game for many years and starting with MS links 1999 or 2001 edition with the addition of the Power Stroke meter, which most people switched to, it certainly had something to do with it. You could swing inside out for a drawing or outside in for fading, along with the various stance adjustments and being able to open or close the face of the club for shot adjustment.
But here again the purpose of my post was to mention that it could be programmed into this game if they so choosed, not debate all of the features of another game that did/does have that capability.
