Uh Yankee...This post;
"Their swing meter had nothing to do with it. The clubface and stance adjustments did it. Coupled with the lie factor, which you got to see, you still had to hit the prefect swing to get the right result."
IMO Isnt exactly saying what you are saying in this one;
That's exactly what I said. You didn't need to miss to steer the ball, you did it through the shot setup by adjusting the angle of the swing throught the ball. Missing the perfect hit was not what did it which is what you have to do here.
Yes adjusting the swing angle from inside to outside and visa versa on the plane of the meter produces a fade or draw which is exactly what I mentioned and yes you didn't need to miss hit on the meter.
Don't know why you are coming off as being argumentative when my main point is that it would be possible for this software programmed to be able to shape your shots without having to miss hit the meter. I don't believe I mentioned anywhere in my post I thought the other game better or as an attempt at comparing the two software.
If you want to compare length of time using the Links game I started back in the 80's when it first came out as Links386 and owned and played every version up through MS links 2003 with at the time 33 courses.
I prefer Wgt first and formost now due to being able to easily play other players online and the graphics I believe are better.
