    There seems to be something in my jinxing of the favoured teams   (France losing to Sweden).

    Expect, predictions of glory for  Portugal, Germany, Spain and Italy in the q finals.    I'm now hoping to score nil points for every match from now on.....

    C'mon England.

     

    BTW,   I'm guessing that Mr Blatter and Mr Platini will now go ahead and introduce goal line technology as England had a dodgy decision go their way ..

    Goal line assistant refs......What a waste of time......

    Then again,  the Ukranian striker was offside before he put the ball in the net so karma is restored...

    Remember the last time Greece won the competition outright, and nobody expected it? They are still there, but i honestly dont expect them to go much further, but they are there, lol.

    Just want to say a big thanks to John for running a great competition so far, and say i realise you are putting some amount of work into running this for us. Your playing a stormer John, well done mate. Dont mean to pry John, bot how is the lovely Mrs J doing now, any news?

    I'm adding a wee bonus chance for players in the 1/4 final round:

    Quite simply - When will the first goal be scored? 15th/50th/89th/110th minute?

    Player(s) that predict the correct time (According to the UEFA website) will be rewarded with a 5 point bonus - the bonus points will go towards player's total points for that day and WILL NOT  be doubled should a joker have been used.

    If no one guesses the exact time  then the nearest to the official time will pick up the bonus.

    Far as the comp goes  - you guys continuing to post  made it all worth while.

    Re my good lady  - she's doing superb, coming on leaps and bounds, thanks for asking.

    The apron and oven gloves fairly take a bit of getting used to though!

    Nah - too much work involved in that - tin openers/toasters/knives.... it's pot noodles or nowt 'fraid LOL

    Steven - add a  goal time to your prediction (see my initial opening prediction above)
