428-yard drive

  I see the latest ad from WGT includes the name of a player who shot a 417-yard drive with the R11S and a Nike ball at Whistler No. 17, so I thought maybe I should post my 428-yard drive on No. 1 at Cabo del Sol.  Probably won't get broadcast by wgt as it is with the "old" R11 driver, but it IS with a Nike ball, so who knows?

  Just thought you all should know that you don't need the new club for a long drive, lol!  (And speaking of clubs, the Friendly Active Players Club is the  best country club on wgt and totally lives up to its name.)

  Very nice AK....  I hit a 429 yard on # 5 at Cabo using an R9 driver and Callys, although I admit to having some help ( I misread the wind, ball hit the cart path, bounced up into the rocks, pinballed around, back out onto the fairway and rolled onto the green). Don't have the replay anymore as I accidentally deleted it when I sent it to myself so I could save it.

  I think Cabo no.5 is the best hole to try and shoot a monster drive, I think I got the most I possibly could out of Whistler

  Sounds like I will have to try for the rocks on No. 5 with both minky and and marks doing so well there!  Wow, actually getting to the green - wtg, marks!

  TY to all for comments.  Check out my newest replay - 206-yard holed approach on No. 17 at St. A's.  Probably saved me 3 or 4 strokes.  It was bookin'.

  Finally got my 400 yarder today (426) on St Andy's with a 30 mph tailwind.  Previous best was a disheartening 399.8 yards.  I WAS using the new driver and Nike ball.

  OMG....thats just silly!

  Must of been a practice round.. because it dont show in your stats. Sorry to burst your bubble....still a(lucky) monster drive though!

  Yes hit same drive too, but only got a 418

  your replay shows you on #5 not #1 at cabo del sol

  I have had several similar but not as long on #5

  a hole in 1 could be had if the Saint of circumstance is in the mood
