Women Only Rounds

  Hi WGT,

  Is there a way to create a multi-player round and have only women join?  Sometimes it's fun to tee it up with the boys, but other times I would like to play with just women to avoid all of the requests for dates and the one line pickups.  The few times I have had the chance to play a women only round, it has been so refreshing and stress free!  Thanks!

  It's a great idea, 

  Unfortunately there are, I don't believe, any means in place to verify anyones gender in order to filter a request to handle this.

  Don't bother, that ain't implementable in the virtual world.    You would in all likelihood have ended up in a G.I.R.L.s round – enjoy it! (?)

  Purchase yourself a Ventrilo server..its 14.95 per month for a small 20 person server. Then you could advertise you have a server and if anyone is interested they can contact you for a port # and password. All you need is a headset and some rudimentary computer knowledge to set up and run your server. They have a great tutorial and live personnel  to help.  I can also help if you need it.  You can invite only the people you want in and can ban people that make it a mess. I have 50 members on mine and have only had to ban 2 people.  I can also share my server and give you a room with a password.

  Skype is absolutely free and easy. It has a nice interface with friends list, availability, etc., and doesn't bog the game down. It is really different playing the game on Skype, especially if you're friends in a teamer. Great fun.

  On the ladies-only you should seek out lilrob-the dames flock to him. Set something up and tell him to go get coffee, or something. Or maybe get three of the ones waiting their turn.  ;-)

  I'm sure there's software out there nowadays capable of transforming my surly voice into that of a giggly college girl.

  Even when using voice chat, I'd bet 3 to 1 you'd still end up with a G.I.R.L. in your virtual lap.

  Well, I'm definitely not a woman, but I'm mature enough not to come on to females in here. You're welcome to "friend" me and we'll play a round of stress-free golf any time you like.
