Great thread Skipper. And equally great replies by all.
The difficult part is trying to quantify what makes any CC here The Very Best. That can't be measured simply by # of members, ratio of active members, WGT ranking of members, forum post count, or total winnings of the membership.
What truly makes a CC The Very Best (IMHO) is how each and every member of any individual CC feels in belonging to said CC. For me, there is nowhere else I'd rather be than in the Lobsters Lair CC. My fellow CC members are more than just friends I've met on a virtual golf website.....they are my brothers and sisters (not literally, of course...my parents would have to be rabbits). I have a kinship here that I don't believe I'd find anywhere else. Quite simply - it is the perfect fit for me. And I have no doubt that many others feel the same way about their respective CC. Its a beautiful thing to find that camaraderie here on the great wide web and congratulations to all that have found it.
For those that haven't found that yet I urge you to hit Lobsterboy up on his offer and see if the Lair is the Very Best CC for you.
I applaud Lobsterboy for his passion for the LLCC and knowing what a wonderful oasis he's created for all of us lucky enough to belong to his vision here. For me, there is no home here other than the Lobsters Lair!
