I am at pro level now, but it's the 7th hole at this course that buggers me everytime. I never get on the fairway. Even if I have good wind and hit the drive perfect I always come up short. I don't get it. There has to be a trick or something. I have tried to carry over to the left a little and I end up in the fescue.

If anyone knows how to tackle this hole to where I can at least par it, that would be much appreciated !

    Thanks

with the standard driver it's very difficult unless you upgrade that or buy some better golf balls with better distance

I played a match against a pro with the starter driver. He hit it to the fairway on the left but be careful there because too far left is OB in another fairway.

Not to worry golforfun. Just aim your tee shot to the left of the huge pot bunker, allowing for the wind, and you'll sail right through the straights on the left side of the fairway. An easy birdie awaits. It's a downhill approach, so judge your distance accordingly.

    GL, and play well.

That would be great if I ever got some good wind on that hole but 90% of the time I don't. How do I go about getting some better balls ?

There is an annex fairway way to the left. I've seen people use starter clubs and hit it there to attain a clean lie. It's small so you have to hit it accurate but at least you won't be in deep rough or fescue.

It might be fairway, but if you're interested in keeping your stats up, don't do it.

Hitting over there does not count as a fairway in regulation...

    Just sayin'... lol

I have played with a number of pro using standard equipment who play left, although as was mentioned too far left is out of bounds for some reason, there is no real out of bounds within the inside of the golf course so WGT should fix this problem.  It leaves them with about 180 to the hole but not a horrible shot.

Many real courses have OB markers surrounding their holes.. and if you go OB.. well unless you're one heck of a scrambler you'll be looking at bogey or worse.
