How can you get more distance on your hits. What I am trying to say is the distance listed on the screen, is not the actual distance even if you hit a perfect shot with the wind at your back it still falls short of the listed distance. Example if after I hit my drive and my second shot is a 3 wood to the green, the listed distance is 225 yards, after I hit the ball it goes 203 yards. Now something just doesn't seem right. So can someone please explain to me how come this happens.

If the green is elevated that would be why. If your green is below you then it will go longer...Just like real golf.

Even if the club is rated to hit 225 yards they dont mean on the fly . The ball will generally land 10 to 15 yds short and roll the rest to get that number. Hope that makes sense if it doesnt one of our awesome people will explain better then me .

    Good Luck.

Wind strength as well needs to be taken into consideration.

Don't know if it's my imagination, but it seems like there a certain holes that my usual calculation doesn't work. Bethpage #1, Congressional #13, approach shot always falls short if I use my usual methods.

    BPB # 1 plays a longer...3 or 4 yards.

I don't recall CCC#13 off the top of my head but is it that the one where the pin is elevated in the back?  If so that entire green slopes to the front, so any BS generally stops the ball where landed..

Well at least BPB #1 isn't my imagination! Good to know. As to CCC #13 it is the heart-shaped green with the hole usually right at the front in a kind of narrow channel, but I just checked it out on the single-hole-play and had no problems whatsoever, so forget about that one for now. I was also going to say that CCC#18 also seems to come up short for me, and on Kiawah No. 4 (I think) even though the green isn't elevated (or just barely elevated) the ball will land in the front (side?) bunker every time unless a  good amount of extra power is applied, and I can't quite chalk it up to the landing vs. rolling distance, but maybe that's it.

It's best to take a few notes on each hole. You know the stuff, aim right, add 5 yards etc. Then glance at it as you play.

KI #4 the par 4 right?

Ya with your clubs (unless a stiff headwind) play left of the bunker in some cases the ball will curl a bit towards the hole but always expect a loooong birdie put over the hump..

CCC 18 unsure of what you usually have to the pin (because of your tees) but hole should play 10 yards shorter than distance due to the low green elevation

With your Raptures try landing about 6-8 yards short (right of the pin) with NO backspin let the ball trickle and roll down over that hump to the hole.

I love it when the OP of any thread asks for help then either never follows up or two...never says Thank You.

    Oh well.

your 3 wood doesn't carry 225 yards.....It only carry's about 200... so my guess is that your ball may be landing n the rough short of the green, and stopping..
