giantfan5611: You finish 20 under in a single ROUND of WGT golf..........youze cheatin somehow son!!!
Says the guy who has been a member since Feb 2008 and only played 86 ranked rounds......
To all the critics out there.....this game takes time and energy, you
want to be good, its not playing 18 or even 36 per day with your
buddies, laughing along the way, drinking beer. **disclaimer this is what many players are looking for and yes that is a great way to pass the time, have fun and be happy****
It takes serious time, serious notes, and the ability to learn from
mistakes, and turn that into course knowledge. Knowledge that you do
not veer from or forget.
I am mediocre at best, but realized early on after really looking at
my game, that there is always room for improvement. Any player on here,
I challenge you to take your best round, I mean the one you will never
forget, and then break it down, I can assure you there are at least 3-4
strokes to be saved.
Every year around the opens these threads surface, about the
qualifying process and the low scores, etc. Essentially whining, if i
can't do it no one can.
You are talking the top 156 + ties, first before you even try to
qualify, look at the top 156 in career earnings, you don't even need to
look at their earnings, as those can be misleading, look at their stats,
really look at how these guys or girls play the game, and see if you
think you can take a spot away from them during the qualifying process.
We are usually talking thousands of ranked rounds, not the 86 that the
poster I am replying to has and him/her feeling entitled to compete
with the best at WGT for the best prizes WGT has to offer.
Unlike real golf the mechanics here are limited, aim, click and
hopefully ding, and the results follow in suit. You don't ding, you
already know where an acceptable miss is and usually leaving yourself a
good luck at birdie the majority of the time.
To giantfan5611, stick to your chances as a sweepstakes winner.....
Cheers,
